Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies and BLOXHUB invite you to an exploration of a regenerative world with a series of events.
The cities of the future will be larger and more complex than today, presenting a number of global challenges and opportunities for the 21st century. Among the major changes taking place are demographic shifts, technological development, environmental threats, economic (de)growth and (in)equality, as well as political uncertainty. Today cities represent an emerging global governing power crucial to addressing and solving some of the world's most pressing issues. This puts cities on the forefront of a regenerative transformation.
Regrow, renew and restore: our vision is a regenerative world that works within the planetary boundaries to create a future where humankind, nature and our cities can all thrive and flourish. We believe it is time to REGENERATE.
In the first debate, we were joined by Maya Færch, Nikolaj Sveistrup, and Enlai Hooi who discussed why we need to move towards a regenerative approach and regenerative cities.
