Everyone knows the story of the main heroes of the games we all play and love. Link's adventures have been well documented, Master Chief has been given three stories to let his tale be told, and for years, countless other main characters have gotten the attention they so richly deserve. But what about the other entities? The so-called "lesser" characters, the behind-the-scenes shop owners, villagers, and background sprites? Isn't it entirely possible that they too have deep and rich stories to tell?
We sure think they do, and to honor the thankless work put in by countless non-player characters, we present Episode One of Non-Player Chronicles. In it you'll see some Poké-moms lamenting their childrens' decisions, a beleagured janitor not looking forward to his day, and yet another mother getting the worst possible news. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll find that you have a better understanding and truer sense of empathy for the individuals who make our games what they are.
Stay tuned for next week's episode!
