Hello everyone! During the last few years we've seen an enourmous increase in osu!’s playerbase, with so many new players rising and the meta continously changing, many of the older and more inactive players who played a huge role in osu!'s history are not very well known by most people anymore. Because of this, and in light of the osu!event, we’ve decided to do something that’s never been done before: a list of top players from the very beginning of osu! (2007) up until now.

This list is based on a criteria which includes various aspects of the game such as:

Peak Skill: A player's effective skill, based on how high their skill was in their peak performance;
Relevancy over time: Amount of time a player has been relevant during their activity;
Relevancy: A player's skill compared to that of others at their time, a player's position in every year's top 20;
Balance: How balanced a player has been;
Tourney Performance: General performance in every tourney a player has participated in, without penalizing players that haven't had the opportunity to compete in a tourney.
