Federal government proposes restrictions on nicotine replacement products – March 20, 2024
On Parliament Hill, federal Health Minister Mark Holland announces that the government is seeking the authority to implement measures aimed at limiting the flavouring of nicotine pouches and ending over-the-counter sales of these products. The government will also seek to restrict the marketing of these pouches. The proposed measures address concerns about youth access to flavoured nicotine pouches.
