The Secret of Mana has been remastered in what is known as an HD Remaster, dubbed The Secret of Master HD Remaster. Many people have had contrasting view points on this game, is it better or worse than the original, or is it just a carbon copy and paste with better graphics. The original was constrained to a 4:3 ration, with no HD support, and even the SNES classic version does not enable wide screen, even though it supports HD. Yet all reviews of The Secret of Mana HD are mixed, especially on Steam. Is the PS4 version or Steam version bad, is it a crappy remaster, or is this game not really worth the money.
