With .NET MAUI replacing Xamarin.Forms over the next year, developers need to be aware of what is coming next and how to prepare for it.
We’ll be covering the following:
- An overview of the framework structure
- Tooling for MAUI development
- Some of the new features coming as part of .NET MAUI
- The productivity benefits for Xamarin.Forms developers
- What is the Upgrade Assistant and how it can be used to assist with the migration
- How to migrate existing Xamarin.Forms applications to .NET MAUI
As part of the session, we’ll take a sample Xamarin.Forms app written for Android and iOS and show how to migrate it to .NET MAUI and pick up Windows as a platform along the way. This session is aimed at developers who have already been using Xamarin.Forms to create Android and IOS applications.
