That platter mat looks to be in immaculate condition, is it the original? I'm looking for a replacement for my PL-550.

I have a 6piece radioset that includes the pl530(reel to reel, preamp, tape player, sterio tuner, powersupply. It was my grandfather's and it's missing the stand that went with it.. could you point me in the right direction to getting it restored????? I'm having a really hard time here in the US.

I just bought that TT, I was wondering about the lateral weight and how to use it during the adjusting process...

I have this turntable and when I first got it, it also had that issue with the tonearm. I immediately had it serviced and fixed. A different issue I noticed though was that my tonearm will not lower unless the platter is already spinning. Which makes balancing and adjusting the counterweight quite difficult. Have you ever run into this problem with the PL 530 and is it something easily fixable?

I have this table with AT12Sa cartridge. Love the detail I get out of it. My tone arm also does not return all the way. It stops about 5 mm from the rest. The platter stops spinning though. Is this a user serviceable fix or best to leave it be?
