Part 24.
Key Differences between UI Policy and Client Script:
UI Policies: Ideal for simpler form behavior adjustments (visibility, mandatory fields, read-only states) without needing JavaScript.
Client Scripts: More powerful and flexible, but they require JavaScript knowledge, and are suitable for more complex behaviors that UI Policies can’t handle.
Both UI Policies and Client Scripts have their place in ServiceNow. If the task is simple (e.g., hide a field or make it mandatory), a UI Policy is preferable. For more complex or interactive logic, a Client Script is the better option.

Key Differences of UI Policy and Data Policy:
UI Policies focus on improving the form experience for users by dynamically adjusting form behavior based on input, and they are client-side.
Data Policies ensure that data rules are enforced consistently across all transactions, regardless of how data is updated, and they are server-side.
Both UI and Data Policies play complementary roles in ServiceNow—UI Policies make forms more user-friendly, while Data Policies ensure the integrity of data in the system.
