I had to return this on steam after trying the drifting, this is more "forcibly sliding" than DRIFTING I'd say. The physics are constantly trying to fight your car being sideways no matter how you tune it. It's like having a fulltime "drive assist" mode that you can't turn off, even if you tune your car to do so 😩

Drifting is way better in nfs heat than unbound

Use manual gear box and down shift just before you begin to straighten up. Keeps revs high and accelerates quicker or you can kick out the drift the other way. Auto gearbox doesnt down shift for ages

Personally I think the drift physics are way better then heat beside not being able to stay on a drift

Bro fr that’s what I thought it was gonna be like bro I felt the drifting change in heat and no I’m uncharged it looks like this that’s crazy bro I might get the cake just cause it’s need for speed but fr slow power drifts feel so godly and they really fucked it up… idk if you ask me it’s made by the same people who made nfs burnout and that games old mfs need to bring back the developers from the 2015 one

It controlls like it has an open diff. In real world drifting if you use an open diff you will loose speed mid corner and it will be snappy like randomly gripping up and flinging you straight.

I've noticed that the joystick is SUPER sensitive. Let go of the right trigger, and tap the brakes, then pull the right trigger again and just slightly tap your joystick in the direction youre drifting, this hold the drift really well, dont turn the joystick too harsh in either direction and youll be good to go. Works for me just fine. Lets not forget it is also an NFS title and not a Forza or GT, so its supposed to be arcadey, weight transfer drifting doesnt work well here at all, try to avoid doing it

All they have to do... is use the same drifting mechanics from hot pursuit. SMH.

I tryed every thing I put off reading suspension with drift tiers and I even put the downforce slider all the way on low and the I still can't get good results 🙃
