Finding Captain Grant (1985)
Captain Grant set out on a dangerous voyage to establish a free Scottish settlement on the Pacific Islands. But his ship is wrecked, and only a half-blurred note in a bottle conveys fragmentary information about Grant. Lord Glenarvan goes on a search at his own risk, taking with him the captain's children - Mary and Robert. The path of brave travelers lies through the islands of the Atlantic, the mountains and pampas of New Zealand and Australia, and the expanses of the Pacific Ocean, where all sorts of adventures await them.
“In Search of Captain Grant” is a Soviet adventure series, a film adaptation of Jules Verne’s novel “The Children of Captain Grant,” filmed by director Stanislav Govorukhin at the Odessa Film Studio (USSR) and the Boyana studio (Bulgaria) in 1985.
