Ionic liquids play an important role considering the world energy storage scenario as it could be used as additive to improve the efficiency of many devices. This talk will be focused on C16MIMBr-, an Ionic Liquid Crystal, which is able to form different microstructures according to the solvents medium. As a consequence, a long life cycle battery could be achieved.
