This is the world’s most advanced tank but how much does it cost?

In terms of protection the tank’s innermost layer consists of all welded steel armor covered by passive armour modules with a second layer of sensor based reactive armour.

But in addition to all this the Panther’s sensors can detect launch signatures from guided or unguided missiles, alerting the crew to their presence or automatically initiating counter measures. A Top Attack Protection system can also be installed using the 7.62 gun to protect against unguided high elevation rockets or loitering ammunition i.e. drones. Oh yeah, it also has 8 smoke grenade launchers.

All of this sounds amazing but the tank is still under development by Rheinmetall and has some time before it will see service. Nonetheless, it’s expected to have a price tag of around €15 Million when it’s ready. So which would you rather have, a Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta or this absolute beast of a tank. I know which one I’d go with.
