🚨 Immediate Action for Sudden Cardiac Arrest: The Crucial Role of CellAED®
In cases of sudden cardiac arrest, it's essential to apply CellAED® immediately. This condition is characterised by unconsciousness, unresponsiveness, abnormal breathing, or no breathing, and no signs of circulation. Remember, do not use CellAED® if the individual is conscious and breathing normally.

❤️ Understanding Sudden Cardiac Arrest vs Heart Attack
Sudden cardiac arrest is a critical condition where the heart stops pumping blood, leading to immediate unconsciousness and abnormal breathing. This differs from a heart attack, where the person is usually conscious and breathing.

⚠️ Safety First: Assessing the Environment
Before administering aid, ensure the area is safe for chest compression CPR and CellAED® use. Move the person from dangerous environments like water or electro-conductive surfaces to a safe area.

🔍 Identifying Cardiac Arrest: Quick Assessment Technique
To confirm cardiac arrest, try to get the person's attention, check their breathing using the head tilt, chin lift, and look method. If they're unresponsive and not breathing normally, act swiftly.

📞 Emergency Protocol: When You're Alone
If you're alone, immediately call emergency services. Begin chest compressions and, if possible, rescue breaths. Retrieve your CellAED® as soon as possible after calling for help.

👥 Team Response: When Others are Present
If others are nearby, instruct them to call emergency services and bring the CellAED® while you start CPR.

👐 Performing Chest Compression CPR: Step-by-Step Guide
For effective CPR:

1. Place your hands on the centre of the chest.
2. Push down hard, compressing the chest by about 5-6 cm at a rate of 100 to 120 compressions per minute.
3. Alternate 30 compressions with 2 rescue breaths.
4. Continue CPR until the CellAED® is ready to use.

🔊 Using CellAED®: Preparation and Application
Upon receiving the CellAED®:

1. Expose the patient's chest by removing clothing and undergarments.
2. Clear the chest area of any jewellery, medicine patches, or medical equipment not marked defib-proof.
3. Wipe the chest if dirty or damp, and shave excessive chest hair if necessary.
4. Apply the CellAED® electrode gel pads directly to the bare chest.
5. Follow the CellAED® voice instructions for correct pad placement.

🆘 Remember, in a sudden cardiac arrest situation, every second counts. Stay calm, act quickly, and follow these steps to increase the chances of survival.
