In this episode of "Tere Gully Mein," we take a nostalgic walk with veteran actor and director Rajat Kapoor Sir, loved for his roles in Kapoor & Sons, Drishyam, and many other films. Join us as we explore the vibrant streets of Chandni Chowk in Delhi, where Rajat Kapoor grew up.
At Rajat Sir's special request, we first visit Parathe Wali Gali, famous for its delicious parathas since the 1870s. Rajat Sir’s excitement is hard to contain as he eagerly tries all the different kinds of parathas. Not known to many as a foodie, he’s not done yet, so we take him to Jung Bahadur Kachori Wala (JB Kachori) for some tasty kachoris and bedmi puri. After all that spicy food, a refreshing falooda kulfi at the Jain Snacks Corner was what he needed.
While enjoying these local treats, Rajat Sir shares stories about his childhood, the differences between life in Delhi and Mumbai, his memories of Delhi, his views on Bollywood, and his thoughts on today’s content. We also play a fun game of "Never Have I Ever," where his surprising answers add a playful twist to the episode.
Rajat Sir also talked about his recent release Tanaav Season 2 on SonyLiv. He talks about his fondness for Tanaav Directors Sudhir Mishra Ji & E Niwas Ji and his bond with Manav Vij & Arbaaz Khan.
Don’t miss this fun and food-filled journey as we explore Delhi’s oldest gully with the local boy himself!
