Sintec platinum 5W-40 oil (red) poured on a run of 171163km https://www.drive2.com/l/632792307480... / , after about 2500km, it was necessary to pour another 700ml of oil, although there was no such oil on other oils before that. I thought that I had calculated the volume incorrectly when replacing, but after another 2000 km it was necessary to top up the oil again. My engine had not suffered from heavy oil consumption before, but not in such volumes, it was enough for me to top up 500-700ml for a mileage between 7500km.
Another sign that the oil burns strongly is a very dark working, almost black, in the oil filler neck.
A drip test for me showed that in my opinion the oil was completely exhausted, or it burned too much, although according to tests the flash point is 227 degrees. There may also be a large evaporation rate, although in the same tests this indicator is plus or minus the same as in other synthetic oils based on VHVI hydrocracking.
So my advice to those who poured the same oil in 1.8-2.0 TFSI TSI FSI audi / skoda / vw - keep an eye on the level and color of the oil, try to do a drip test on paper, if the spot is dark with even darker areas in the center, then urgently for an oil change, otherwise this test may be blocked and so the small holes of the oil rings.

Test, composition and characteristics of Sintec Platinum 5W-40 oil at the Oil Club forum https://www.oil-club.ru/forum/topic/5...
The oil is declared as: API SN, ACEA A3/B4, A3/B3, MB-Approval 229.5, VW 502 00 / 505 00 , ZF LLC "UAZ", PJSC "AvtoVAZ"
1) The oil meets the SAE 40 standard
2) Viscosity at 100C = 13.76 cSt - typical for 5W-40 (13.5-14.5 cSt), which provides a balance between protective and energy-saving properties
3) The alkaline number = 10.05 is high, which indicates good detergent-neutralizing properties of the oil; the standard MV229.5, although on the verge, is fulfilled
4) Acid number = 1.81 - low for a full-day student, the TBN/TAN balance looks decent
5) Sulphate ash content = 1.22% - normal for such an additive package, but there are analogues with a lower sulfur content
6) Flash point = 227C is a good indicator: the oil is thermostable at high temperatures
7) Pour point = -49C - excellent result for 5W hydrocracking oil
8) Mass evaporation NOACK (carbon monoxide) = 10% - a good result: the oil fulfills the requirements of MV229.5
9) Sulfur content = 0.335 - normal for this additive package, although there are analogues with sulfur 0.220-0.250
10) Anti-wear additives based on Zinc and Phosphorus + organic Molybdenum as a friction modifier to reduce wear and fuel consumption. Detergent additives based on salicylates and sulfonates (or only sulfonates) Calcium.
