【始球式】篠崎愛さんによる始球式（2024.8.11/横浜スタジアム）
グラビアアイドルの篠崎愛（32）が始球式で美しいワンバウンド投球を披露した。
背中に誕生日にちなみ「AI」の文字と背番号226が入った神奈川のユニホームで登場。セットポジションからボールを投げ込み、少し悔しそうな表情を浮かべながらも拍手を浴びながらベンチ裏へ退いた。
この日はABEMA湘南銀行平塚競輪場協賛による「オールスター競輪平塚ナイター」として開催。平塚競輪場のイメージキャラクターを務める篠崎が会場を盛り上げた。第4ゲート横には、競輪選手が練習で使うワットバイクの試乗コーナーや平塚競輪オリジナルグッズが当たる特設ブース、競技用自転車を展示したJKA補助金事業PRブースなどが設けられた。
