Another really cool feature of php 7.4 shorthand functions is that callback functions can access variables outside of their scope without us having to implicitly telling those shorthand functions to use the variable. Further simplifying our code. PHP 7.4 shorthand functions folks ~ in my opinion php versions older than php 7.4 are officially considered old. PHP 7.4 ~ Lesson 9: Serialize & Unserialize Magic Methods Serialize is the getter and unserialize is the setter PHP 7.4 gives two new magic methods to help us serialize data from class instance state and unserialize data to set class instance state. Pretty nifty ~ I'm a fan :)
