These are the scariest weapons in human history
At number three we have the world’s largest flamethrower, the Livens Large Gallery Flame Projector. It was used by the US Marine Corps in WW2, Weighed 2.5 tons, was 17m in length and took 300 men just to bring it to the front lines and this is what it looked and sounded like to fire.
It supposedly was so intimidating that fifty German soldiers immediately surrendered upon seeing it in use.
At number 2 we have Schwerer Gustav, the largest armament ever made. This thing weighed 1,350 tonnes and fired 800mm shells weighing the same as 2.9 Land Rover Discoveries.
It was so large that it had to be pulled around by a 1.5km long train. When used in the Siege of Sevastopol, it took 4,000 men 5 weeks to get it in position and 500 men to fire it. By the end of the siege it had fired 47 rounds weighing around 330 tons.
Lastly at number 1 we have the tsar bomba. This is the largest nuke ever made and is three times the size of the one dropped on hiroshima at 58 Megatons of TNT. The fireball alone was 8km wide and 1km high with the mushroom cloud reaching a maximum altitude of 67km, 8x the height of mount everest and a width of 95km. But if you want to know more about this insane nuke, hit that follow but for a video dedicated to this monster.
