LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - Everything We Know So Far!
In this LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga News Update, I showcase and talk about every single thing that we know so far about this game. Developed by TT Games, in collaboration with the Lucasfilm Games team, and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the biggest LEGO video game that the company has ever made and is not a remake or a remaster of LEGO Star Wars The Video Game, LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga or LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Players will experience Levels inspired by The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker. Each around 10-15 minutes long, focusing on key parts of a story. Including, Boss Battles and Vehicle Sections, like the underwater descent into Naboo's core, Anakin Skywalker & Obi-Wan Kenobi's duel on Mustafar, Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan's fight with Darth Maul, the Droid Factory infiltration on Geonosis, the attack on the Tantive IV, the Cloud City Trap, Luke Skywalker's duel with Darth Vader on Bespin, the destruction of Jabba The Hutt's Sail Barge, the Escape from Jakku, Rey & Kylo Ren's fight on Starkiller Base, Luke & Kylo's battle on Crait and Ren's encounter with Rey on Pasaana.
Other specific moments from the Skywalker Saga will be experienced in the Open World, such as Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan's arrival on the Trade Federation Ship and Luke Skywalker's fight with a Rancor. Confirmed characters include Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi as a Padawan and Jedi Master, a Droideka, Jar Jar Binks, Queen Amidala, Darth Maul with his hood up and down, Jango Fett, Mace Windu, Count Dooku, Chancellor Palpatine, Anakin Skywalker, C-3PO, R2-D2, a Gonk Droid, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker in his Farm Boy, Bespin and Return of the Jedi attire, Ben Kenobi, Chewbacca, Han Solo in his A New Hope, Hoth and Endor clothes, Princess Leia in her Hoth and Endor outfit, a Wampa, a Rancor, Yoda, Lando Calrissian in his Skiff Guard Disguise and Bespin clothes, Boba Fett, Wicket The Ewok, Emperor Palpatine. Kylo Ren masked and unmasked, Captain Phasma, BB-8, Finn, Rey with her Quarterstaff, Rose Tico, Force Projection Luke, Dio the Droid, Poe Dameron, and Jedi Rey.
Random encounters include Super Star Destroyer's suddenly coming out of hyperspace, which you can then choose to ignore, or attack head-on, leading to the Destroyer deploying multiple Tie Fighters to swarm your Ship, which will result in a dynamic dogfight through space, as you take out the remaining Fighters, lower the Shields, and destroy the vessel. There are over 150 vehicles in the game, including the Millenium Falcon, Tie Fighters, First Order Tie Fighters, Resistance X-Wings, the GAT-12 Skipray Blastboat, and the Alpha-class Xg-1 Star Wing Assault Gunboat, Podracers, Landspeeders and all AT's. The T-47 Airspeeder, Rebel Alliance X-Wings, T-16 Sky Hopper, Kylo's Tie Whisper, a Star Destroyer, and the Death Star have also been spotted, as well as the Republic Attack Cruiser and interiors for the Invisible Hand, the First Order's Supremacy Mega-Class Star Dreadnought and the Millenium Falcon.
Players will explore Planets, like the Deserts of Geonosis, the Swamps of Dagobah, including Yoda's Hut, plus, the Snowfields of Starkiller Base, Hoth, Endor, Cloud City on Bespin, Naboo, Coruscant's Galactic City and Uscru District, Mustafar, Utapau, Crait, Yavin 4's Rebel Base, Kashyyyk, Jakku, Canto Bight, Endor, Kamino, and Tatooine, featuring Uncle Own & Aunt Beru's Lars Homestead, the Moisture Farm, Luke's Workshop with a T16-Sky Hopper, Ben Kenobi's Home, Mos Espa, Jabba the Hutt's Palace, The Sarlacc Pit, Tosche Station in Anchorhead, Mos Eisley and Chalmun's famous Cantina. Each Planet is populated with Jawas, Rodians, Aqualish, Devaronians, Neimoidians, Taun-Taun's, Bantha's, and more Alien NPC's. Activities include Smuggler Runs, Bounty Hunter Missions, and random Tusken Raider Attacks. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be available sometime in 2020 for the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC on Steam.
