An "architectural revolution" is quietly taking place in a corner of the concrete jungle. In central Tokyo, plans are underway to replace several high-rise buildings with wooden structures by around 2030.
The challenge will be to construct the buildings' walls, columns, beams and interiors from wood, rather than reinforced concrete.
