Summer Island Resort Maldives Watervilla 2023
Hello everyone! It's time for another upload and this time, it's one of my dreams to stay in a Watervilla in Maldives! Though there are manyyy options to choose from, for us it was still a matter of a budget. 🤭 So during February, we booked last minute at Summer Islands because it was close to Male and the cheapest one for 490$ a night inclusive of breakfast and dinner buffet (excl. alcoholic beverages) at a Watervilla. We also stayed in another deluxe room which I might feature later on. The only thing we forgot to consider was the transportation fee of 170$ per adult roundtrip from Male to Summer Islands and vice versa. All in all we stayed 2 nights and 3 days at Summer islands and spent around $1,200.00.
If you have watched my other videos in Maldives, we stayed 17 days exploring this dream destination, however trust me it wasn't budget friendly at all.
While you may be able to find an economic resort, you'll need to look at the transportation fee that can cost between 150-500$ per person! So if you have the budget, I definitely recommend to go for the all inclusive resorts! Because otherwise you'll end up paying as much for less.
Pros and Cons for staying at Summer Islands:
Pros:
-I enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets
-Quiet and relaxed especially if you stay at a Watervilla
Cons:
-It's a very small island *took me about less than 20min to see everything
-Nothing really special on this island 😢
