Today, we're diving into the world of gaming accessories with an in-depth review of the Gamakay TK75-HE keyboard. This is a 75% keyboard that has a stunning design and color combination that can elevate the aesthetics of any setup. This keyboard currently retails for $129, but you can usually find it at a discounted price. Inside the box, you will find the keyboard with tools to remove both the keycaps and the switches, a 5-foot USB-C to USB cable, and a USB transmitter. The keyboard is rechargeable with a built-in 4000mAh battery, allowing for wireless use via Bluetooth or the USB transmitter.

This keyboard has a sleek and modern aesthetic that looks great on any desk. I love the combination of my favorite colors, blue and white, which perfectly complements my setup. The light shade of blue paired with the white keycaps looks stunning, though the placement of the branding slightly disrupts the clean aesthetics. The build quality is solid with minimal flex, and it is easy to disassemble for cleaning. The keyboard also has two customizable height options and a removable metal volume knob that functions as a clickable button to pause and play.
The standout feature of the TK75 is its mechanical switches. The model that I have uses Linear Mercury switches, known for their smooth and linear actuation, but Gamakay also offers Silent Phoenix switches. The TK75 also offers a wide range of preconfigured RGB presets that you can choose from. The lighting isn't as strong since it doesn't pass through the letters of the keycaps, but it lights up around the keys. Cycling through the lighting profiles is easy with the FN+\ key combination. The keyboard also has software for firmware upgrades and keybinding customization, which I recommend downloading to fix any initial issues, like the volume knob operating in reverse.
Typing on this keyboard is a joy. The keys are well-spaced, and the tactile feedback is satisfying, whether you're in an intense gaming session or just typing an email. I've found the wired and Bluetooth connections to be flawless, but I've experienced occasional delays with the USB transmitter, mostly when first turning on my computer or waking it from sleep mode. Testing the USB transmitter on three different laptops showed the same issue, which hopefully can be resolved with a firmware update. Overall, the Gamakay TK75 is a fantastic keyboard that offers a lot of value for its price. With its solid build quality, RGB lighting, and responsive mechanical switches, it's a great addition to any gaming setup.
