My review of Loveless by Alice Oseman, including my own 18 year experience of learning about my own asexuality.
I use a lot of ace terminologies in this video so for a short list, please see below:
Asexual- someone who does not experience sexual attraction
Aromantic- someone who does not experience romantic attraction
Demisexual- someone who experiences sexual attraction when they have gotten to know someone
Demiromantic - someone who experiences romantic attraction when they have gotten to know someone
Grayasexual- someone who experiences sexual attraction in very specific circumstances
Grayromantic- someone who experiences romantic attraction in very specific circumstances
Sex positive - someone who regardless of sexuality is positive about the action
Sex neutral - someone who regardless of sexuality has no opinion about the action
Sex repulsed - someone who is repulsed by the notion of sex regardless of their sexuality
Allosexual - the antithesis of asexuals. If you feel sexual attraction you are allosexual
Autochorissexuality- asexuals who understand there is a difference between their body’s needs and desires and being in a relationship with others. This could manifest physically or through things like Lithromancy
Lithromancy - recognising the physical attraction of others without the physical or emotional attraction to them
This is not an exhaustive list, there are more terminologies but these are the parts of the lexicon I am most familiar with.
