Schools lure away child care staff, exacerbating shortage
As the school year ramps up, so does the school district's hiring effort to fill the last vacant positions before students return. But attracting that talent is taking a toll on Wisconsin’s child care providers.
27 News spoke with several child care providers, some of whom reported struggling to make ends meet amid the current business climate. But all of them said they had lost staff to school districts.
