The Fanboy is a large air cleaner that we built to rapidly remove all of the airborne sawdust that drifts around our shop when we are making things. It is super-powerful and looks appropriately awesome up on our shop wall. All of this is important.

Our filters are 20x20 and that works well for the Fanboy box size. The washable filter is GOLD and will protect your more expensive 1-micron filter. And your 1-micron filter is going to cost more because of the level of filtering it does. But use whatever brands you like to make your version work.
