The Philippines is a fantastic country with some of Southeast Asia's most beautiful beaches, islands, and crystal-clear waters. It also has some of the best adventure activities, such as canyoneering.
Kawasan Falls is a set of waterfalls located in the mountains of Badian, Cebu. The turquoise waters and lush jungle make it a popular destination for tourists. Canyoneering in Kawasan Falls is a challenging but rewarding experience. It involves hiking, water rafting, climbing, and jumping off waterfalls.
Today, Mads and I go on a canyoneering adventure in the Philippines. We start by riding a motorbike to the Kawasan Falls Zip Line, Asia's second longest dual cable zip line. After the zip line, we begin our canyoneering experience.
Mads was initially scared of the first jump, and she lost her grip and fell down the rocks, but she was able to recover and continue. However, the canyoneering is incredible, with many jumps, rope swinging, and a stunning natural setting.
Our canyoneering adventure started in the mountains of Alegria and ended at the Kawasan waterfalls. We wore life jackets and helmets as we jumped, climbed, swam, slipped, and slid through the Canlaob River.
Canyoneering can be dangerous, especially if you are afraid of heights or not confident in your abilities. However, Canyoneering in Kawasan is a thrilling adventure that will surely get your heart racing. It is also a great way to experience the natural beauty of the Philippines.
