Tips for Harvesting & Using Kohlrabi ⬇️
Pick kohlrabi when the bulbs are about 2-3" wide or tennis ball sized. Cut away the roots and old leaves from the bulb and store in the fridge for up to one month.
Kohlrabi can be enjoyed raw in salads and slaws or cooked in soups and meat dishes. The young, tender leaves are also edible and can be used much like any other leafy green.
Kohlrabi is in the cabbage and turnip family and likes the cool weather, so plant it in the fall and spring.
