IVDD is very common in Basset hounds, Beagle, Daschunds, French Bulldogs, Lhasa Apso, Pekingese, Pomeranian, Shih Tzu, Welsh Corgi, Cocker Spaniel, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Doberman's are the only large breed dogs to be predisposed to this disease.
