Nature is strange in so many ways. You'd think gulls would be all over this.
And It's amazing the things you take for granted until you realize how unique and extraordinary they are.

by about six months. Doesn't look to me like it was taken today. Padded jackets are often necessary even in June when the capelin roll. In NL it's known as "capelin weather" and it's cold and foggy with onshore winds.
