Did you know sea creatures are pollinators too? Tiny shrimp, jellies, and other sea creatures act as pollinators of the sea. The pollen of underwater plants attaches to these marine animals, and they deposit it on other plants. It's exactly the same as what happens on land with the insects and other animals you're more familiar with. Cool, huh?
We hope you and your student(s) enjoyed learning about these important pollinators! If you want to learn even more, head over to our website and download one of our many lesson plans about birds, full of activities, worksheets, and more!
