This video will show you some of the best and easiest route to farm 3-cost Energy echo / Moonlit Clouds sonata.

Best place to farm 3-Cost Moonlit Clouds Echo in:
0:00 Dim Forest (around monkey boss area)
8:12 Whining Aix's Mire part 1 (northeast of monkey boss)
12:16 Whining Aix's Mire part 2 (east of monkey boss)
14:55 Port City of Guixu and Wuming Bay (north of monkey boss)
20:28 Central Plains (north of Jinzhou)
24:36 Desorock Highland (north of Jinzhou)

Some areas might have another identical enemies. These enemies are not included in this route because they are secluded and only spawn in very small numbers, which makes running around the map takes longer than actually beating them. However, the number of excluded enemies are not of significant amount. If you follow this route, you will still have a fair chance of echo drops for the intended targets, given the time you invested to farm them.

Please note that you cannot use an unleveled echo to level up another echo. I'd advise not to spend way too much time grinding echoes since there are no way to guarantee the correct drop. And you still need to hit Tacet Fields either way to farm EXP materials and Tuners, which is more RNG.
