In this video, I describe the describe seven types of skin receptors: root hair plexus, Pacinian corpuscles, Meissner's corpuscles, Merkel's discs, Ruffini endings, Krause end bulbs, and free nerve endings. I categorize each based on receptor type (mechanoreceptor, nociceptor, thermoreceptor), whether it's fast-adapting or slow-adapting, and what exactly it detects in our skin.
