Possibilities of PLASMOTHERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF ROSACEA
🔴 What role does Plasma therapy play in the diagnosis of rosacea and rosacea and at what stage the PRP technique is applicable and necessary.
🔻 ROSACEA is characterized by a wave-like course with alternating periods of exacerbation and remission.
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory dermatosis characterized by damage to the facial skin in the form of erythema and papulopustular elements.
📍 There are 3 stages of development of ROSACEA:
✔️ The first stage is erythematous-telangiectatic.
It is accompanied by the appearance of small vessels on the skin and slight redness, as well as mild itching, burning and a tingling sensation of the skin.
✔️ The second stage is papulo-pustular. It is characterized by erythema and telangiectasias, which are less pronounced than in stage I. Hemispherical bright red miliary papules are found, as well as acne-like papulopustules that tend to merge into plaques.
✔️ The third stage is pustular-nodular. It is characterized by significant thickening of the tissue and uneven tuberosity of the surface of the skin of the nose (rhinophyma), forehead (metaphyma), chin (gnathophyma), ears (otophyma), and less commonly, eyelids (blepharophyma).
