Nnoitra Gilga is an Arrancar and the Quinto (5th) Espada in Sousuke Aizen's army.
First and foremost, Nnoitra is very tall and lanky, even a foot taller than Chad. He always has a bright smile to reveal the above smile. His long hair covers most of the left side of his face. He also treasures a large eyepatch that covers his left eye to hide his emptiness and hide the debris that covers a small jawbone and teeth surrounding his gaping hole. His tattoo showing his rank as 5th is on his tongue. Nnoitra's appearance consists of a modified pleated jacket that opens up across his chest showing his midsection closing at his waist. His neckline also features an inflated spoon-like hood. His hakama appears to be the same but his tight pants inside his socks are long and his sandals are extended at the end making it look like he is wearing evil wizard boots. He is also extremely rude and lecherous, distinguished by his snake-like eyes and his nickname for Orihime Inoue: "pet-sama". He even goes so far as to ask Ulquiorra how well he "taught her". His goal is to prove himself as the strongest Espada and not waste his time killing those he considers weak. However, he has no problem attacking stronger opponents who are already injured, a trait that both Ichigo and Grimmjow criticize him for.
Nnoitra is also unique in using her hollow power as a warrior. For example, most of Arrancar's Pesquisa (ability to sense people under mental pressure) works by using a meditative state of closing their eyes and using their mind while Nnoitra simply places his hands on the surface of the ground. He also fires Cero blasts from the tip of his tongue while most other Arncars use their hands or mouths. Finally, Nnoitra has the strongest Hierro of all the warriors, allowing him to perform most attacks without showing signs of injury.
