What do glow sticks and watches have in common? Let’s look at this from a scientific perspective. So, the most basic function a watch can do is tell the time. But interestingly enough an inactivate glow stick cannot tell us the time, but surprisingly enough an activated glow stick can indeed tell us the time. Glow sticks when activated can last between 8 to 12 hours and more surprisingly some glow sticks can last up to 24 hours.
