There’s people out there in the street,
They’ve got something to say.
But it’s hard to get your message across,
When you’re kept six feet away.
There’s a river flowing through my town,
Where once I used to play.
But danger signs are everywhere now,
So the children stay away.
I don’t wanna live in a constant state of emergency,
That politicians create.
People need to see where the money goes,
Who is walking around wearing rich man’s clothes.
The world is getting hotter, they tell me every day.
A climate state of emergency will keep the heat away.
Life was a risky business,
But now the worriers rule the day.
I guess I’ll hide under my table,
Till the danger goes away.
