The previous video introduced integrals and integration. The integral of a function is just the area under the curve describing the function. This is easy to do geometrically for simple functions, but it isn’t so easy for complicated functions. In this video, I’ll show you how to use numerical analysis to approximate the integral of a function. The approach is actually pretty easy if you use a computer to do the simple, repetitive calculations.
