Application Load Balancer to ECS - Full Walkthrough
Today we’re going to cover a use case that is common amongst organizations trying to move their existing applications to AWS. In the previous video we dockerized a PHP application and created an image that we can run in ECS using ECR to store the image. Now we are going to create an application load balancer to route our traffic to specific containers based on predefined parameters. This guide is intended to help you get your production environments running in AWS using best practices (staging, production pipelines). The next tutorial we will cover using GitHub actions to build updates to your application and pushing them to AWS ECR to update your applications.
