Toys OST - Closing of the Year (Long Remix)
I don't own any rights to the original soundtrack or graphic.
Since I was small, I've always loved the movie "Toys" (1992) with it's comedy, romantic subplot, despicable villain and climactic ending made for long hours of watching and the re-watching for me as a child.
I recently found the Toys Movie Soundtrack in a local music store. On it, they had two versions of "Closing of the Year" by Wendy and Lisa, the opening (3:16) and closing credits versions (4:11) which, though similar, were both very different and incomplete. I was able to get the single of the non-soundtrack version but it still felt incomplete to me. The few other versions I found didn't really feel "complete" to me. So I made the effort to bring the two together to complete them.
Having some mixing experience, I remastered the two CD rips of the versions to enhance the sound distribution and levels then spliced some sections together to create a complete long version that is now 5:42! I hope you like my effort to make a complete version of the song.
