SMU FRESNO Grand Opening Ceremony
The Fresno campus Grand Opening on Thursday, August 1, 2024, was a significant milestone for our university and the Fresno community. The grand opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, campus tours, an opportunity to hear from Samuel Merritt University (SMU) leadership and local dignitaries, and meet with faculty, staff, students, and community leaders who are dedicated to advancing healthcare education in our region. We are eager to share with you how our new campus and Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program will positively contribute to addressing the critical need for skilled and compassionate nursing professionals in California.
