The Volvo XC60 is Volvo’s 5-door, 5-seater mid-size SUV. It is built on Volvo’s Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) modular platform, which underpins all Volvo 60 and 90 Series vehicles.

The XC60 proudly and confidently embodies Volvo Design, with classic Volvo styling cues. The signature Thor’s Hammer LED headlight design is a key feature of the vehicle.

Inside the cabin, the XC60 offers a calm and balanced environment, with a combination of premium materials and sophisticated Scandinavian design. The interior materials, including elegant non-leather options and the crystal gear lever also available on selected configurations, reinforce this Scandinavian spirit.

The new exclusive wool blend upholstery of the Recharge models is made from 30% responsibly sourced wool and 70% polyester with contrasting white piping, created to enhance the experience of contemporary and sustainable luxury.

The advanced air purification system prevents up to 95% of harmful PM 2.5 particles from entering the cabin. Whatever the conditions outside, the advanced air purifier (CleanZone Advanced) can help occupants enjoy better and healthier air quality, while also having the ability to monitor particle and pollen levels outside the car.

Connectivity and infotainment

The Volvo XC60 is equipped with an infotainment system developed jointly with Google, integrating Google apps and services. Intuitive and convenient, this next-generation infotainment system offers many options for personalisation. Customers benefit from a high level of connectivity in their vehicle and access to Google apps and services*, including hands-free assistance with the Google Assistant, optimal navigation with Google Maps and a wide range of native in-car apps via Google Play.

The Volvo XC60 also receives software and operating system updates over the air, ensuring the vehicle continues to evolve and improve over time after it leaves the factory.

Powertrain technology

The XC60 Recharge features our latest generation of plug-in hybrid powertrain, capable of delivering 350 (T6) or 455 hp (T8), combining a combustion engine and a 107 kW (145 hp) electric motor. It has an 18.8 kWh battery that offers up to 78 km** (WLTP combined) of pure electric range – covering the daily commutes of more drivers.

The Recharge’s one-pedal drive mode allows the accelerator to be used alone to accelerate or brake the car smoothly to a standstill.

The XC60 is also available in a range of 48V mild hybrid versions with diesel engines ranging from 197 to 235 hp. Mild hybrid technology provides smoother start-up and reduces fuel consumption and emissions by up to 15% in real-world driving conditions.

Safety and driver assistance

The XC60 reflects Volvo Cars’ focus on automotive safety: the SPA platform has enabled the most durable Volvo cars to date, thanks to the extensive use of boron steel and a range of safety systems designed to protect people inside and outside the car.

The XC60 is equipped with Volvo Cars’ latest Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) sensor platform, a modern and modular active safety system that consists of a combination of radars, cameras and ultrasonic sensors.

This platform enables the development and deployment of active safety systems such as the detection of other road users, automatic braking and collision avoidance. Thanks to the IntelliSafe Assist function, the driver benefits from intelligent driving assistance between 0 and 130 km/h.
