"Smokey Robinson & The Miracles - Whole Lot Of Shakin' In My Heart (Since I Met You)" Mono/Stereo "Motown Greatest Hits"
For True, Diehard, Motown, obsessive fanatics and completists: the original mono/45 mix, stereo mix and isolated right and left channels of this 1966 hit.
For me, the stereo mix wins- if only because it reveals that there is a LOT of stuff going on in the mix. Mike Terry's sax work becomes crystal clear and there is an interesting thing going on with those bongos. A really dramatic horn arrangement with an ultra-hot sax break.
