Why Pangolier Rushes Echo Sabre in 7.36c Dota 2
Pangolier is down but not out. Since 7.36, the hero is seeing a revitalization of its old-school build where you are maxing out Shield Crash both because of the Facet, Double Jump, but also because the hero is now all physical-damage based including his skill sets. What that means is there is a shift away from his Swashbuckle, which was nerfed in 7.36 and an emphasis on your Lucky Shot, Shield Crash and Rolling Thunder. Items like Echo Sabre, Manta Style and more all lean towards Pangolier's damage as a universal attribute hero but also giving him more oomph during and fights outside of his ability and even during: like Harpoon'ing an enemy during Rolling Thunder to guarantee a stun and damage based on your attack damage.
