WHO says Israel and Hamas agree to ‘humanitarian pause’ in Gaza to allow polio vaccinations
The Israeli military and Hamas have agreed to three separate, zoned, three-day pauses in fighting in the Gaza Strip to allow for the vaccination of approximately 640,000 children against polio, announced the World Health Organization (WHO) on Thursday.
