Black Screen after waking from sleep - Fix
Recent Windows Updates, like the KB4532693, KB4535996, KB4540673 etc came with a lot of serious problems. One of them for me (and my laptop, the Lenovo Legion Y540) was the black screen when waking the laptop from sleep, or whenever I was closing the lid for a while, and then opening the lid back up.
It would never return to Windows, and I had to shut it down through the Power button and turn it back on. After scouting through the Even Viewer and some research, the Fast Startup feature was to blame. Here's how to disable it (didn't affect the speed up times).
