The Secret to Perfectly Merge CGI with Live Action | (Edge Extending)
This tutorial covers a technique using Nuke Edge Extending, and goes over the fundamental compositing concept. This applies to any render or CG from Blender / Unreal / Houdini - etc - whenever you are layering CG objects behind real footage you will encouter this problem.
We'll go over the basic edge extend tool, if you're looking for more custom ones, check out Nukepedia.
This tutorial is geared towards beginners, there are more advanced edge extend methods that we don't cover in this video, but this is great place to start to grasp the concept.
