SmallRig 3948 is the only camera cage for OM System OM-1 Mark II. It is also compatible with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 III and E-M II, as well as the original OM-1. The SmallRig 3948 is a half-cage for the Olympus OM-1 and the OM System OM-1 Mark II, since these cameras are physically identical.

It is somewhat compatible with the E-M1 III and the E-M1 II but the cable clamp aspect won't fit these older cameras.

SmallRig 3948 Specs
Weigh: 120g
1/4"-20 threaded holes
3/8"-16 threaded hole with ARRI locating holes
Angled cold shoe
NATO rail on left
Arca-Swiss compatible bottom
Flat-head screwdriver magnetically attached
Strap holes on bottom for wrist strap or shoulder strap

SmallRig 3948 Disadvantages
Generic cage (E-M1 II, E-M III, OM-1, and OM-1 II)
Loose bottom screw
No M2.5 screw for the eyelet
No indentation for the camera foot protrusions. So there is visible space between the camera bottom and the cage as the camera sits further up than necessary.
No padding on the inside of the cage
Half cage so there is no right hand options for mounting or attaching a grip
Less mounting options on top
Cold shoe doesn’t have an anti-slip pin. A cold shoe can be attached but adds weight
No NATO rail on top. A NATO rail can be attached but adds weight and will be less secure as it needs to be connected with screws.
Not possible to attach or detach the cage without taking off the lens, if the lens is moderately big.

SmallRig 3948 Advantages
Because it’s a half-cage, it’s light (120g)
Provides additional mounting options instead of using the camera cold shoe.

It is the only camera cage for the OM-1 Mark II and the original OM-1 so irrespective of how good or bad it is, there are no other options. But I would like to see an update to this cage to make a dedicated cage for the OM-1 so that compromises won’t have to be made. So they could have a fixed position screw at the bottom. Also they could add an M2.5 screw for the eyelet to further stop the camera from moving. Also introduce indentations on the bottom of the cage so that the camera fits better in the cage without any gap between the camera and the cage.
