FAR Manager a modern Windows alternative to Norton Commander
FAR Manager is a modern console-based Windows application for managing files. It looks similar to Norton Commander (from MSDOS) or Midnight Commander (from Linux). It can be installed or executed from a folder. I use it quite often for doing quick changes to programs, batch files, etc. or looking at files using the hexadecimal viewer.
