3. PSPs are required to make the necessary investments for procurement and installation of equipment along with required fixtures and
furnishings, obtain necessary regulatory approvals (AICTE/NCVT as applicable), hiring of teaching and non-teaching staff as per applicable norms to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the ITIs and Polytechnics.
PSPs will be allowed to operate the institutes in conformity with
AICTE/NCVT affiliation norms along with any other permissible academic activities.
A specific percentage of the students enrolled in the PPP institutes would be admitted
through government approved fees and rest of the students may be charged fees as
approved for private ITIs and Polytechnics.
