*PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BELOW FULLY FOR CONTEXT*

On Thursday, November 10, 2022 around after 3:50pm (during the PM Rush Hour), there was a "stopped train" forcing westbound trains from Blair to travel "the wrong way" on Track 2 (eastbound tracks) between Hurdman and uOttawa.

As a result, OC Transpo decided to split the LRT service into two separate shuttle train service. The Shuttle Train service arrangement was as follows:
Tunney's Pasture Shuttle Train (between Tunney's Pasture to uOttawa), using Platform 1 (westbound platform)
Blair Shuttle Train (between Blair and uOttawa), using Platform 2 (eastbound platform)

All passengers travelling beyond uOttawa in either Shuttle Trains MUST transfer at uOttawa Station. The Tunney's Pasture Shuttle Train would be utilizing Platform 1 (westbound platform), while the Blair Shuttle Train would be utilizing Platform 2 (eastbound platform).

Unfortunately, one of the Tunney's Pasture Shuttle Train arriving into uOttawa Station onto Platform 1 came to a suddenly stop while crossing over from Track 2 (eastbound tracks) to Track 1 (westbound tracks) just west of uOttawa Station. After a bit of delay in resolving the issue, the Tunney's Pasture Shuttle train was able to it to uOttawa Station on Platform 1.

(Full disclosure: I was aboard this particular Tunney's Pasture Shuttle Train when the problem occurred while crossing over from Track 2 to Track 1).

This caused subsequent delays to the two other Tunney's Pasture Shuttle trains from behind, in addition to the already existing "stopped train" situation between Hurdman and uOttawa.

Consequently, these two other Tunney's Pasture Shuttle Trains arrived and departed on Platform 2 (eastbound platform) and Track 2 (eastbound tracks) instead of Platform 1 (westbound platform) and Track 1 (westbound tracks). This caused confusion to the people on Platform 2 who were awaiting for the Blair Shuttle Train.

This video will show the tail-end of the service disruption at uOttawa. Note that after the Blair Shuttle Train departed in this video, full regular service resumed normally.
